Regionally Speaking, March 9, 2022

Today: Tim Maloney, Senior Policy Director, Hoosier Environmental Council , is on "Regionally Speaking" with an "end of session" scorecard. The gavel has come down on the 2022 Indiana General Assembly. Maloney says the brisk session was consequential from an environmental and energy perspective. The HEC, their environmental partners and other key allies got three major public health victories during the 2022 session and four wins for a sustainable Hoosier economy. Indiana Public Broadcasting's Justin Hicks reports on an opportunity for schools to apply for grants to support teaching digital manufacturing methods. And the two major projects on the South Shore Line, totalling one billion dollars, are underway. We have comments from NICTD chief executive Michael Noland.
