Today: Valparaiso University professor Elizabeth Gingerich is on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about the impact of rising oil and natural gas prices because of the Ukranian crisis and how the discussion is rapidly changing the transition from combustion-based vehicles to electric vehicles and from fossil-fueled energy sources to renewable energy. She also notes that business and nations are paying closer attention to their own carbon-reduction goals. We also have another conversation from the Welcome Project at Valparaiso University, about the erasure of a Latin-X community following a 1960’s revitalization. Indiana state highway officials are warning motorists to be extra careful of workers this road construction season. We bring you today's "Marketplace Tech Report" and "INSide Indiana Business" reports, and northwest Indiana financial advisor Greg Hammer has a special retirement planning conversation just for Gen-Xers. It answers a lot of very important questions.
