Today: Dan Klein and Julie McElmurry with the Shared Ethics Advisory Commission are on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about the Ethics Pledge sent out to candidates in the May 3rd primary election, which the Commission asked them to sign and return no later than April 8th. The Pledge commits candidates to support actions and policies which promote ethical behavior among public employees. Those policies include whistleblower protection for employees who report ethical violations.

Today: Valparaiso University humanities & Christian ethics professor Thomas Howard is on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about the new initiative: “Valpo on the Brink: Rethinking Mission, History and Identity at a Lutheran University.” He is the leader of the six-member group which is conducting the studies within the initiative. Their final reports are planned to be completed by March 1st, 2024.
