Today on Regionally Speaking we hear from Frank Colucci, Associate Professor of Political Science at Purdue University Northwest, about the impact that the U.S. Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade will have on future cases and political decisions, both nationally and here in Indiana. Then, Congressman Frank J. Mrvan (D - District 1) joins us to discuss the impact of federal dollars on Northwest Indiana including along the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, and into downtown Michigan City. Mrvan also discusses the latest on Roe v. Wade and what Capitol Hill Democrats will plan to do next.

WENDY DIO returns to chat once again with show producer/host Tom Lounges about her late, great husband Ronnie James DIO, who a dozen years after his death, still reigns as one of heavy metal's greatest vocalists and songwriters.Ronnie James DIO would have turned 80 years old this past Sunday (July 10th). Dio’s career spanned five decades, touched millions of fans and pioneered his signature “devil’s horns,” one of the most popular hand gestures in the world. Dio also provided vocals and lyrics for some of the most iconic rock albums of all time with BLACK SABBATH and RAINBOW, before establishing his own band DIO as a metal force with their 1983 debut "HOLY DIVER.""Holy Diver." was a platinum-certified smash and one of the late singer-songwriter’s most groundbreaking achievements. Rhino Records revisits this epic metal moment on "Holy Diver: Super Deluxe Edition," which became available on July 8 as a 4-CD boxed set, a 2-LP Vinyl collection and also in a digital formatThis collection comes with two versions of "Holy Diver."The first is a new mix of the album made by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Slipknot, etc.). Barresi used the original analog tapes to remix all nine tracks on the album. The second is a newly remastered version of the original 1983 mix.The Super Deluxe Edition also features unreleased live performances from the 1983 "Holy Diver" tour, along with some remix session outtakes, and a few rarities from the era.
