Andy Timmons Shocks and Awes with Newest Album, "Electric Truth"

ANDY TIMMONS is a native of Evansville, Indiana and was the lead guitarist for the '80s glam-rock band DANGER DANGER, before going solo and stepping out as one of the world's top guitar instrumentals, while also continuing to rock hard with his self-named Andy Timmons Band.

His newest solo album "Electric Truth" gets world wide release on April 1, 2022, but Lakeshore listeners got treated to some of the album's tracks early as Timmons chatted on this edition of "Midwest BEAT" with show host Tom Lounges and special in-studio guest co-host, guitarist Marco Villarreal.

The station was created after the board of directors for Lakeshore Public Media, which also operates our sister station Lakeshore PBS, saw the need for regional access to a public radio station in order to provide localized up-to-the-minute news and information for NW Indiana residents.
