Today: Lake County Democratic Party chairman Jim Weiser is on “Regionally Speaking” with the latest look at the local political party, as the candidate filing period is underway for the May 3rd primary election. He talks about those who’ve already filed for office and those about to file, including interested newcomers. Northwest Indiana nature activist Ron Seman talks about the curated nature hikes which he conducts in the Indiana Dunes National and State Parks and in the Shirley Heinze Nature Preserves in Porter County. And Meals on Wheels volunteer director Charlie Misovye talks about this week’s “Cold Days, Warm Hearts” volunteer campaign, to sign up more drivers and help in the Merrillville kitchen.
