Regionally Speaking, February 1, 2022

Today: Indiana University Northwest associate professor of economics Micah Pollak, who has been keeping track of data on the COVID-19 pandemic and posting it on his Twitter feed, is on “Regionally Speaking” with the latest on the northwest Indiana and Hoosier State data about the virus and related topics. They include vaccines, masks and the economic impact of the pandemic on the Region. We have another conversation from the Welcome Project at Valparaiso University, and “Indiana Citizen” co-founder Bill Moreau, talks about the 2021 edition of the Indiana Civic Health Index. It was the 2019 edition that provided the impetus for the Citizen Education Foundation’s work to improve voter registration, education and turnout. Indiana University Northwest professor Ellen Szarleta participated in the report and has for years.
