"Post-Tribune" reporter Alex Kukulka talks about her story on the halfway point of the 2022 General Assembly session, on "Reporters Roundtable Thursday." Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and Munster state Representative Mike Andrade talk about this week's meeting with Indiana Hispanic leaders at the Statehouse about the contributions of the state's Hispanic community.

Today: On this Reporters Roundtable, "Post-Tribune" reporter Alex Kukulka shares on "Regionally Speaking" her recent stories out in print and online, including the halfway point of the 2022 Indiana General Assembly session. She and her colleague Michelle Quinn has a story on the last of the candidate filing period for the May 3rd primary elections and who is running for what political office that day. Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and State Representative Mike Andrade (D-Munster) joined ten Hispanic leaders from across the state to a meeting at the Statehouse on Feb. 8th to discuss opportunities for collaboration and improvements for the state's Hispanic community. Some of those leaders included attorney Alfredo Estrada, Lake County's first Hispanic Bar Association president, Hammond Hispanic Community Committee president Deborah Trevino and Food Bank of Northwest Indiana executive direcor Victor Garcia.
