Today on "Regionally Speaking," we talk roadways, highways, and byways... From the current pain at the gas pumps and traffic pains, to the future of transportation and roadways in Northwest Indiana.

Tom Maloney talks with Patrick DeHaan, Senior Petroleum Analyst for GasBuddy.com, about the current cost of gas in Northwest Indiana, and why the midwest is seeing higher prices than most of the country.

Then, he talks with Cassie Bajek, Public Relations Director for the Northwest District of INDOT, about construction season, and when it will end, as well as what INDOT is doing to keep workers and drivers safe in construction zones.

Dee Dotson talks with Luna Lu, Associate Professor in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University, on how advanced theories and engineering principles are making infrastructure more sustainable, adaptive, and autonomous.

Finally, Tom talks with Carl Lisek, host of "Green Fleet Radio," about Indiana's role in green energy creation and usage, along with some big plans coming to the state's future.
