Regionally Speaking, October 5, 2022

Today: Global oil and gas prices have been rising sharply since 2021 as economies worldwide recovered from the coronavirus pandemic and demand for energy surged. So we bring back our conversation with Valparaiso University associate professor of accounting Anton Lewis. He shares his take on how alternative energy can save the world trillions. He also offers the financial impact of the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth. But up first, with cold weather heading our way we will all face higher utility bills. We speak with Alexius Barber, the Public Affairs and Economic Development Manager for NIPSCO. She’ll discuss the resources that are available to help manage energy consumption costs.. All of that and more on this edition of Regionally Speaking.
