The month of February recognizes Black History Month paying tribute to the generations of African Americans who struggled with adversity to achieve full citizenship in American society. Today we bring you a conversation with noted historian Jeannie Regan-Dinius about her research into Indiana’s role in the Underground Railroad. But up firstLakeshore Public Media has a new leader at the helm. Coming up after the break we’ll introduce Charles Roberts the organizations new president and CEO.

Tom Maloney
