Young Jean gets more than a dime's worth of Coke from the company vending machine.

Delivering mail to the Inland Steel home office in Chicago was thirsty work for young Shep. In this program from June 5, 1971; he recalls how "The Pause that Refreshes" turned into a flood of cola in the executive office.

The Atlanta-based company says it will urge its bottlers to end the practice of negotiating "exclusive" contracts with school districts.
