For this edition of Lakeshore Public Radio's twice weekly "Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges," the show's host/producer Tom Lounges chatted with KEITH JACKSON, bassist and founder of the R&B/Reggae band, TRIPLE DOSE.

Keith is a member of that famous Northwest Indiana JACKSON family -- and is 1st cousin of the late Michael Jackson -- and the other famous siblings who in the 20th Century became msuic royalty. 

Keith talks about his famous family during this program, including visiting Michael at "Neverland," touring with cousin Janet Jackson, and being with Tito and Marlon Jackson as they returned to their childhood neighborhood of Gary, Indiana where they are taking part in the plans for a Jackson museum at the newly proposed Hard Rock Hotel/Casion in Gary.

Keith also talks about the history of TRIPLE DOSE and their upcoming live performances, including the big Valentine's Day musical event at the Hobart Art Theatre in downtown Hobart, Indiana which pairs up Jackson and his group with the Sheryl Youngblood's "The Women of Motown Revue."

Tom Lounges has been a region radio personality and a music journalist since 1979. For the last 35-years, he has been reporting on entertainment as a weekly columnist and feature writer for The Times newspaper. He was also publisher and editor of the monthly tri-state entertainment magazine ("Midwest BEAT Magazine") for over two decades, he has written hundreds of features for numerous national glossy magazines over the decades, and he wrote "Liner Notes" for over a dozen albums release by Sony Records.
