The Diabetic Journey/You Tube

Today:  On this Reporters' Roundtable edition, we bring you "Times" reporters Kale Wilk and Olivia Heersink with a "Byline" podcast about Larry Eyler, and Giles Bruce on the first of a multi-part series of articles -- in print and online -- on healthcare issues. The first article is about the cost of insulin to those in northwest Indiana who need it.  Lakeshore Public Radio's Sharon Jackson spoke at length with state Senator Karen Tallian (D-Ogden Dunes) about her decision to run for Indiana Attorney General in 2020.  And reporter Michael Puente spoke to public officials and residents in Portage about the chemical spills that have affected life and recreation in the community.

We also bring back our in-studio conversation with Lake County Prosecutor Bernard Carter, who announced publicly recently that he's running for re-election in 2022.

Chris Nolte produces and hosts “Regionally Speaking” aired weekdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. He's also the temporary local "Morning Edition" host.
