Gary seeking input for five-year park plan

Gary residents can weigh in on the future of the city's park facilities.

The Gary Parks, Recreation and Aquatic Department says it's working on its five-year master plan, with help from Indiana University's Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands. As part of the process, residents can fill out a survey, covering their current usage of Gary's parks, how they can be improved, and what sorts of facilities, activities and programs they think are important.

You can find the survey online at go.iu.edu/Gary2023. Paper copies are available at the Hudson Campbell Sports & Fitness Center and at Gary City Hall.
