NIPSCO--www.nickadamsphotography.com

Today: NIPSCO President Michael Hooper is on "Regionally Speaking" to talk about his assuming the leadership of the Merrillville-based utility company which is part of NiSource, what NIPSCO is doing these days to head toward sustainable energy generation and how the utility helps customers who cannot afford to pay their winter heating bills. As part of this "Reporters Roundtable Thursday," "Times" chief political reporter Dan Carden is here to talk about the stories he's written and put out in print and online about the 2022 General Assembly session. And "Chicago Tribune" environmental and public health reporter Michael Hawthorne talks about his story on the settlement that means Cleveland-Cliffs will pay for and make changes which led to the toxic waste spill at the Burns Harbor steel mill (owned at the time by ArcelorMittal) which led to fish kills and beach closures.
