Midwest Beat: Bill Leverty, Guitarist/Songwriter of "Firehouse"

This week’s "Midwest BEAT with Tom Lounges" musical guest is Tom's old acquaintance BILL LEVERTY, the guitarist, songwriter and co-founder of the veteran hard rock group, FIREHOUSE. At the time of the interview, the group was on a U.S. tour and set to perform in Northwest Indana on SATURDAY, JUNE 21st on The Venue stage at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN.

For this edition of “Midwest BEAT”, Lounges talks to guitarist Leverty about the band’s longevity, their new single and forthcoming album, surviving the loss of original vocalist C.J. SNARE and how they acquired their new vocalist NATE PECK.

This episode of the show also features plenty of classic Firehouse hits, along with the Chicagoland radio debut of the new FIREHOUSE single, “Mighty Fine Lady.”  The new single’s awesome picture sleeve was created by Bill’s wife Kris Leverty.
