LGBTQ Youth

  • The first National Coming Out Day was organized October 11,1988 and is meant to be a celebrate members of the LGBTQ community who bravely have "come out of the closet" and openly identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, asexual or intersex.
  • National Coming Out Day is a day to honor LGBTQ+ and aimed to raise awareness of both the LGBTQ community and civil rights movement as well as to advocate for a person’s mental health and identity.
