Drivers using I-94 can expect lane restrictions near Michigan City starting Monday. The Indiana Department of Transportation says the right lane and shoulder will be closed in both directions between U.S. 421 and U.S. 20/35, but two 11-foot lanes with two-foot shoulders will stay open.
It's part of the first phase of a bridge replacement project just east of Johnson Road. INDOT expects the lane restrictions to remain in place until late June.
