It is not known, however, if they will examine decriminalizing marijuana. Both Tallian and Pol discuss that point, since legislative leaders sent the issue to a study committee on public health, behavorial health and human services. The study committee recommendations are advisory only, but those recommendations are considered serious enough from which to create bills which could come up next session. We also have local reaction and commentary to the Uvalde, Texas school shooting from Laura Wynn, who founded Indiana Parenting Institute. She offers some tips for parents to help their youngsters deal with the issue of feeling safe in school.
