I-94 bridge painting work is scheduled to begin Wednesday in Porter County. The Indiana Department of Transportation says eastbound traffic will be shifted toward the median between U.S. 20 and State Road 49. Overnight lane closures will take place to set up the lane shifts.
Work is scheduled to switch to the westbound lanes after about three weeks, with the project wrapping up in late June.
Meanwhile, Eagle Ridge Drive in Schererville will be closed Wednesday between Deer Creek and Willowbrook drives for culvert inspection. The town says the closure is scheduled to last from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and drivers will be able to access businesses from Willowbrook Drive.
