South Shore Line to offer extra service for Magnificent Mile Lights Festival

South Shore Line

The South Shore Line will offer an extra eastbound train Saturday, following Chicago's Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade. The train will leave Millennium Station at 8:30 p.m., pick up passengers at Van Buren and make all stops to Gary Metro Center, where passengers will be able to board a bus for stations between there and Carroll Avenue.

Next week, the South Shore's regular weekday schedule will be in effect on Wednesday and Black Friday. Trains will run on a holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day.
