More lane closures are coming to Region roadways.

Overnight lane closures are coming to northbound I-65 Wednesday night, as bridge work near the interchange with I-80/94 moves to its next phase.

Northbound lane closures are planned Thursday night into Friday morning between 61st and Ridge Road, as crews set up a new traffic configuration.

Overnight lane closures are planned Thursday night on northbound I-65 between Ridge Road and I-80/94, then on southbound I-65 through the same area on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

More bridge work starts as soon as Monday on State Road 49 and I-65.

Bridge work on I-65 is moving to its next phase. Lane closures are planned tonight (Thursday) on the northbound side between 61st and Ridge Road, as crews set up a new traffic configuration. Those lane closures are scheduled to take place between 8:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.

61st Avenue will have ramp and lane closures at I-65, starting as soon as Monday.

On Monday night, overnight lane closures are planned in the northbound lanes between 61st and Ridge Road, with work switching to the southbound lanes the following night.

Road construction season is getting underway, as the Indiana Department of Transportation starts prep work for bridge projects on I-65 and Ripley Street.

One person was hurt in a crash Wednesday on I-65 in Jasper County.
