One driver was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and another was taken to jail, after Indiana State Police say a new school bus rear-ended a semi on I-65. Troopers say it happened around 11:15 p.m. Thursday about two miles north of the Fair Oaks exit.

Overnight lane and ramp closures begin tonight (Tuesday) on I-65. The Indiana Department of Transportation says crews will close two to three ramps at a time, along with the right two lanes of I-65 in the area, as they install the final pavement markings on the ramps.

A Lake Village man was seriously hurt in a four-vehicle crash on I-65 Thursday. Indiana State Police say it happened around 2:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes, two miles south of U.S. 30.

A Wheatfield woman is dead, after a crash on I-65 Sunday morning. Indiana State Police say it happened just after 10:00 a.m. at the 61st Avenue exit.

More ramp closures are coming to I-65, as concrete restoration work continues. On Tuesday and Wednesday nights, the ramp from northbound I-65 to westbound I-80/94 will close from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Another ramp closure is coming to northbound I-65 this weekend. The ramp to eastbound I-80/94 is scheduled to be closed from Friday evening to Monday morning for concrete patching. The Indiana Department of Transportation asks drivers to use U.S. 20 and Ripley Street as a detour.

I-65 concrete restoration work is moving to the northbound lanes this weekend. Starting Saturday, the northbound entrance ramps will be closed from U.S. 30, 61st and Ridge Road. The ramp from U.S. 231 to northbound I-65 is also closed for a separate contract. INDOT asks drivers to use Broadway as a detour.
